Internet Explorer: The Basics


Take the fear out of using the internet and have fun while learning with other Diamond sisters at this introductory class.

Do you need SOMEONE, ANYONE look up something on the Internet for you? Would you like to know how to get driving directions to ANYWHERE? Would you like to shop for a specific item and get the best price available?

If you say yes to any of these questions, then this class is right for you.

In class, you'll learn how to:

  • Display web sites. Learn to find a website and look up websites that you know about.

  • Search for information. Learn how to find any information, product or service available and listed on the Internet.

  • Talk with others using the Internet. Learn how to share information on your computer to a friend who has a computer. Learn how to join an Internet group like weight watchers and chat with them.

  • Download or Attachments. Have you ever received an email with an attachment that you couldn't open or didn't know how to open?

Materials: Each student will use a computer in class with access to the Internet, receive a CD ROM and a TEXTBOOK to keep and write notes in.

Price: 1-day class and is $125.

Availability: Class is limited to 10 students. Please help us and vote to see if there is enough interest to schedule a class.

Curriculum: A teacher will be teaching the class where students can follow along in their textbook.

Software: This class uses Microsoft Windows software and is NOT a class for anyone using the MAC (Apple Macintosh). Any questions, email instructor prior to enrollment.
